Scuba Diving
I decided it would be fun to get my Padi certification for open water diving. Not that I would want to dive around here because it's so cold, but when cruising the tropics never can tell when a dive might be in order. Diver Dans here in Santa Clara has an accelerated course, the first Sat and Sun was some classwork and then diving in the pool. The next weekend was a total of 4 dives over Sat and Sun in Monterey at the breakwater. This was a lot of fun although there sure is a lot of equipment when cold water diving. It's a little streneous to walk a bunch of stairs with full wetsuit, hoodie and probably 60lbs of stuff. 273033
